Dear Parents/Carers,
We have come to the end of another fantastic week at Chalkhill. In our Monday assembly Mrs Anthony and Deepti from Place2B spoke about the upcoming Mental Health month and specifically Mental Health day on Thursday 10th October. Our children were very engaged and shared some of their thoughts on good mental health.
On Thursday 10th October, the children will be celebrating our diverse cultures and can come to school wearing their cultural clothes. We are also excited to share that for the first time in many years our kitchen staff will partake in training with a company called ‘Chefs In School’.
This will involve looking at and introducing new menus with a continued focus on healthy eating. Please see our new scrumptious Menus. We will start with Menu—Week 1 from Monday 7th October. Chalkhill Primary School also took part in National Poetry day on Wednesday. You must read page 2 of our Newsletter!!
