SATs Week and more…

It is the beginning of May! Can you believe it. This week our Reception group parents had their parental consultations.

Again, it was good to see how many families came as well as the proud, happy looks on their faces after. It was also our pleasure to host a group of families from Year 5 as the sleepover event is approaching fast. Thank you to Mrs Majeed and the other members of staff who are organising this exciting event.

Year 6 SATs are around the corner:
Join us in encouraging our dedicated children and staff in their final preparations. Mrs Uwais, Miss Oti and Mr Parker have not left any stone unturned to get the best out of our Year 6 children.

PTA Meeting:
There is a PTA meeting on the Tuesday 5th May 2026 at 9am – please try and join us (see page 4 of this weeks newsletter for more information).

Morning Multi-Sports Club and Music Lessons – Payment Reminder:
If your child has attended the Morning Multi-Sports Club, please ensure that payment is made via Arbor. Please also note that the Music payments for the Summer Term has now been added to Arbor. If your child is receiving additional music lessons, we kindly ask that this amount is settled at your earliest convenience.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Dance from Equador!

It’s Equadorian Week this week at Chalkhill Primary School, and to start the week off with style, we all enjoyed a fabulous traditional Equadorian dance performed by our amazing guests.

After the performance, our dance duo instructed the children on how to perform the dance themselves. It’s going to be a fun packed week so look out for more to come.

To watch the dance, press play.
