Tuesday & Thursday – Cultural Workshops
On Tuesday and Thursday, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful team from Warmis UK. During these engaging workshops, children learned about the traditional clothing worn in different regions of Ecuador. They also explored ceremonial masks and discovered the meaning behind traditional dances.

As part of the activities, children expressed their creativity by creating beautiful artwork inspired by Ecuadorian landscapes and animal masks .

Storytelling Experience
Children also took part in a storytelling workshop led by Ms Banto and Ms Cox. Through the story Galapagos Girl, they discovered the unique environment of the Galápagos Islands and the incredible wildlife found there. It was a fantastic way to bring Ecuador’s natural wonders to life.
One of the highlights for many children was the opportunity to try on traditional Ecuadorian outfits, helping them to connect even more with the culture and traditions they were learning about.

Thursday – Ecuadorian Meal

On Thursday, children and staff enjoyed a delicious Ecuadorian meal. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic flavours and celebrate Ecuadorian cuisine together.
Throughout the week, everyone had a fantastic time learning about Ecuadorian culture through dance, language, art, food, and the experiences shared by people from Ecuador. It was a truly memorable celebration that brought learning to life.
