Welcome back to Chalkhill Primary School. At Chalkhill, we understand the importance of sustainability. Part of this passion for being self sufficient is our passion for growing food and enjoying the fruits of our labour.
Our Chalkhill Garden is truly loved and cared for by the children everyday. Because of this, we are benefitting from this hard work with delicious produce, which we can all enjoy at school every week.
Today our children are doing some weeding. This is very important to ensure that the nutrients in the soil are there for our crop and not for the weeds, which we cannot eat. It is a very important job!
