World Book Day and more…

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back again. Chalkhill Primary School is going from strength to strength; our families are the major driving force. Our amazing, skilled set of staff always come up trumps. This past week is no exception. Please go through our menu very carefully so we can best protect our children with allergies. Our kitchen staff always try their best to be super vigilant but we must always approach everything as a team behind the child. Remember we do not allow any kind of nuts in school.

Here are a few reminders for the week ahead:

Tuesday 4th March 2025—Pancake Breakfast.

If you have paid for your child to have pancakes, please note; Pancake breakfast will be served from 8.00am–8.30am so please bring the child/children to school on time.

Thursday 6th March 2025—World Book Day

The children can come to school dressed up as their favourite fictional Character in their book. (The children must bring this book to school.) To celebrate Chalkhill’s love of reading, we would love parents and children to capture a photo of themselves together reading a bedtime story and send into us at the following email. Media@chalkhill.brent.sch.uk (subject: WBD Photo). Remember to include your child’s name and class.

We will be inviting parents in again on the last two week’s of term to read their favourite children’s story with their child’s class. If you would like to take part then please email us at media@chalkhill.brent.sch.uk (Subject: Read story).

Class 2A will be performing their assembly on Friday 14th March 2025 at 9.00am. Class 2A parents are invited.

Have a fantastic weekend.

Kind regards
Mr Cloete
