Weekly Roundup

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am thrilled to report that this week’s parent consultations, which took place over Tuesday and Wednesday, were once again a huge success. It was heart-warming to see so many of you  actively engaged in your child’s education and sharing their progress with us.

The Bug Club Book sales that took place afterschool and during the two parent consultation evenings have also been incredibly successful. I am pleased to announce that there will be  another opportunity to purchase them during our upcoming Winter Fair on December 11, 2025.

Our Year 4 children have been inspired by one of history’s greatest explorers –

Ernest Shackleton.
His incredible journey teaches us about resilience, teamwork, and never giving up. Based on this Ernest Shackleton’s Journey, Class 4F gave a fantastic performance – Get ready to step  into his world! Thank you Mr Frederick and the Year 4 Team for organising a superb assembly and to all the parents that supported the children. Next week’s assembly will be  performed by Class 2P – Parents and Carers from the children in Class 2P are invited.

Reminders:
For the morning Breakfast Clubs and Multi Sports Clubs please use the Sport Hall entrance, through the staff car park. Chalkhill Primary School will be holding a Winter Fair on Thursday  11th December 2025, from 3.30pm-5.30pm. If you would like to set up your own stall for the fair, please refer to page 4 for more information. Your participation in these  events not only benefits our school, but also creates a strong sense of community among us.

Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend.
