At Chalkhill Primary School, it is our intention for all pupils to have access to a high-quality English curriculum which will equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to become lifelong learners and successful in any environment.  English is a core subject which underpins all other areas of the curriculum; the teaching of this subject is given the highest priority due to the community that we serve.  We strive to ensure that all pupils receive a well-rounded learning experience that would develop their love for oracy, reading and writing.
